When and where I can buy Micoach connect adapter in the USA?
or the UK??
Probably a long shot - anyone know where to get one in Australia?
US people - have you seen any in shops that ship internationally?
What about the MiCoach connect dongle by itself? I have the pacer bundle...but have found that it would be much better (on a treadmill) to be able to see my heart rate. The last thing I want to do is spend money on an additional heart-rate sensor that I won't use.
Adidas should have unbundle the whole thing and sold it separately. I already have the pacer, I just want the iphone dongle. And what would happen if I just want to replace or lost the HRM or stride sensor ? Sure, MiCoach is good, but don't expect that people would want to buy a whole new set just to get the parts (or dongle).
It's clear that while there's been a lot of thought put into this line, the execution has been fairly poor. They've pulled the zone (which was a half baked product), and haven't really given anyone a viable option to see their heartrate while they're working out (unless, in my case, you're on a treadmill and can rest your iPhone on the treadmill vs. lugging it around). When you're tracking your heartrate, the system is inadquate (unless you drop another 100 dollars on a garmin watch).
Then there's the strength plans which don't get sent over to any device. Is one supposed to print out pages and pages prior to one's workout?
I expected better from adidas. There's so much untapped potential with this product line it's frustrating.
Thanks for your feedback.
The miCoach Connect as a single item is under a global roll-out plan, with further global sales support expected in more countries late 2011/early 2012.
Currently I can't tell you the exact data for different countries.
Please check in with your local adidas retailer soon.
The miCoach Connect can work with all kinds of ANT+ sensors. This means those of you who have already miCoach Pacer bundle can use its sensors as acheater said.

Excellent news. Thanks for letting us know.
Thats great news. Today was my first workout with it and I loved it. Now if I can loose some wires it will be even better.
Please forgive my impatience but here it is three months later. Is there any word on purchasing the micoach connect without the speed_cell or heart rate monitor or zone?
Can you give us an update?
Nothing yet from Adidas corporate. Clearly spending millions of dollars on R&D for balls that don't fly true and piss off players around the world is a higher priority than locking up a market space that could get them billions. What's next years World Cup ball going to be? A version of the whiffle ball?
Sent from my iPhone 4
i have the same problem, but found out on ebay u can sell pacer (all set)2nd hand for about £60-80 if u lucky, and then buy brand new connect (full set) for £60, maybe this is no lose situation
Does anyone know if the Garmin ANT+ adaptors for iphone register the micoach pacer bundle (pedometer and HRM)?
Sorry for the delayed response.
If you still can't find any single item at the adidas retailer near your place or at the adidas online shop, please have a look at the following link. They deliver the miCoach single item worldwide:
@atko4356: The miCoach Stride Sensor and Heart Rate Monitor are ANT+ sensors and can work with ANT+ compatible devices.
Unfortunately, http://bit.ly/GF2ucZ don't deliver in Canada due to restrictions in import duties. Do you know somewhere else we can find the CONNECT miCoach as a single item? I looked at the Adidas.com but the CONNECT comes with the speed cell which I don't need.
25.90 lbs for a usb connector? Thats crazy!!!!! I can buy the whole usb with the speedcell for 65 US dollars. I have the connector for the iphone, but it would be nice to have a usb connector as well. Not impressed.......not impressed at all.
