Follow these steps to remove the Heart Rate Monitor (HRM) from the textile strap, clean it, and store it.
Un-snap the HRM
Un-snap the Heart Rate Monitor from the strap. Failure to do so may result in corrosion of the connectors and decreased performance.
Clean the strap
Rinse the strap under clean water (hand wash only). Do not iron, wring, dry clean, or tumble dry the strap. Hang to dry.
Store the HRM and strap
Store the HRM and strap in a dry place. If either product comes into contact with a damp surface such as a towel, it may remain activated and run down the battery.
Do not submerge in water
Do not submerge your HRM in water, crush it, or drop it.
