  • have they actually agreed to give you a refund and if so who did you contact as im ready to send mine back too and get the Nike sportsband? like you say I dont think it is as good as Micoach but at least it works!

  • No Adidas have not agreed to a refund, luckily the company I brought the origonal pacer from graciously replaced it along with the reciept. There for this means I have a new reciept so I am entitled to a refund under the product not fit for purpose criteria. I have contacted Wiggle and asked them to clarify this, hopefully this will be an easy proccess as they appear to be a company who care about their customers and have great customer service. I will update more tomorrow as with it being Sunday I am not expecting a response until Monday. If they do refund I shall purchase my sportsband from them also I may treat myself to a new pair of trainers with the money left over from the sportsband being £60 cheaper.

  • I wonder if we even have a choice to do an update! My pacer was bought in Las Vegas and I live in the UK so there is no chance of me taking it back to the shop but I am on my 2nd pacer as it was replaced after it just died and never worked again so i dont have the original receipt but I do have some sort of paper work that came with my replacement pacer it just means dealing with Adidas for a refund!

  • Well I did do the update that micoach posted this morning and guess what...it never worked ha. The whole thing has been packaged up and sent off today. As soon as I get my refund I shall be getting the Nike Sportband. I hope you can get it sorted Barearse, not good news when your training for a marathon. The one bonus to Micoach was the person telling you in your ear to speed up, slow down (when it worked). Never mind I see the nike site will help you prep for run ect so I think I'm grown up enough to listen to my heart and know when to speed up slow down. To bad Adidas couldn't sort it for me, never tought I'd ever go to nike, just goes to show aye. Surely you should be able to return defective product to an Adidas store, especially as you have documentation. Then again you have to wait for them to tell you to and as the last three weeks have shown, they are in no hurry.

  • I am having the same problems since the update. My pacer want power off and when it does power on it don't pick up my censors that I know is not a prblem. I have it for 2 1/2 years and have never had this issue. Ito don't seem to want to help or acknowledg that the UPDATE caused the problem.

  • ive been reading this post hoping to find out some good news but i guess not.  now my pacer won't even turn on after an attempt to factory reset it.  I bought my pacer after my nike plus sports ban pooped out after less than a year.  I guess it's time for a garmin or no device at all.

  • I wish Support would come on here and tell us that they are looking into it. I love my pacer, but am not happy with the customer service. All will be forgiven if you let us know what is going on!!!

  • Well I can confirm that Wiggle have refunded all of my money for a faulty product. I understand Nike have had their problems however - I am under the imprssion (lots of blogging) that the sportband 2 has been upgraded with non of the issues. I'm off to treat myself to one as well as some new trainers though not neccessary Nike as you can little poch things to put the sensor in. Good luck all of you really hoping it is sorted. Think I may hang arouind on the forum just to see if it does and what happens next. Will also let you know how I get on with the sportband (I may well be jumping the frying pan into the fire).

  • My pacer does not give any signs of working after switching it on. No sound, co light change no nothing. Just green light and that is all. I tried paper-clip method, no results. Tried to sithch off and then again on. No results. I tried to connect and synchronize and then swith on again - no response. In result I spend more tham hour trying to get my pacer work. Finally, after n-swithc on, it suddenly welcomed me as nothing ever happened... And this happens almost every time I use my pacer - it is so annoying that I am thinking of returning it back.

  • I hope for you Darren that the new one works. Mine did not! As you can see the result is I no longer have a pacer .
