I would say it's nothing to do with miCoach, its just that your GPS chip in the phone as taking that long to get a GPS fix.

I do have the same problem and I think it's related do Galasy S II. I heard comments about how Samsung should have improved the GPS signal better... Usually this also happens to me when I try to get a location on Google Maps. And it gets faster (at locating) if you let the Data network enabled...

Samsung has a known GPS issue with all their phones. I have a Samsung Captivate and the GPS used to be really bad. You can try xda-developers.com/. Search the forums for you phone and GPS and see what comes up. You can also try fasterfix program that is available in the market. I used fasterfix and changed some settings and it is noticeably faster.

Actually, I updated my phone yesterday. Today it found GPS signal pretty fast. Lets hope it's fixed.
After last update, via Kies(norway), GPS searching is no longer a problem. Usually, i've found gps within 10 sec.
