I wanted to present a few bugs that I am struggling with, with the latest MiCoach release and HTC Sense 3.0:

1. Your app defualts to the android music player instead of the system default music player. This means it will not play anything from the app.

2. Your app gets cleaned up by Sense 3.0 (maybe a function of gingerbread is doing it, thatFroyo didn't). You have designed the app to reside in the task bar but after about 15 minutes of it not being the forefront app, it dies.

3. As a result of 1 and 2, the HTC 3.0 user has to use HTC's music player seperately.

4. As a result of 1 and 2, the user has to keep your app at the forefront which assumes all music control third party app commands. As a result clicks to skip songs are absorbed by your app and nothing is done as your music player is not/will not run.

Love the app, wouldn't spend the time to post this if I didn't I would simply use runkeeper instead. Keep up the good work and I hope to see Sense 3.0 Music player (or some way of selecting your music player from the app settings), in the near future.

  • The Playlist problem isn't just Sense 3.0. My samsung also had the same problem where I couldn't select a playlist though micoach. However, installing WinAmp and creating a play list on that was identified on MiCoach.

Also the workout plans that I create on Micoach.com do not sync on my phone.
