I manually edited my zones to match my walking pace. But I believe that micoach automatically assumes this to be running zones and computes higher calorie burns than I'm actually burning by walking at the various paces. This was clear when I tried a Free Workout and got a lower calorie burn at a higher pace for the same duration. How do I tell miCoach to compute these as walking zones and not running zones?
You can choose the type of activity after synchrnosiation in the notes section of the workout display.
I think it will recalculate the calories then, but am not sure.
Thanks a lot. That worked. I also just realized that the training plans are agnostic to the type of cardio training and hence the calorie burn. It says "Use cardio machines, bike, or run outdoors--your choice.". I suppose this means, it applies to walking as well. Ultimately the calorie burn will depend on the"type"of cardio training and not the "structure" of the plan.
