Hi,
I also have the same problem. It wont let me update the data manually afterwards either. Really anoying as I like to tie in my Assessment workouts with an indoor gym session.
Any ideas anyone?

You will need to do your assessment Workout outside using GPS. This is the only way the app can record your speed through each of the instructions that help determine your personal pace zones.
On the Getting Started page (http://www.adidas.com/us/micoach/articles/2009/10/getting-started-the-micoach-assessment-workout.aspx) it suggests that you do your assessment on the same way you plan on working out & talks about doing it on a treadmill, but the app has no way of putting that info in manually for a treadmill. Is there a way to manually put in my treadmill data for each segment so you can have an acurate assessment?
So the miCoach application can't work for indoor use? The explore option on the applications says that it will if we turn off the GPS but still it keep searching for the signal and doesn't start. Pls suggest if any workaround?
It works for indoor use. In fact, my friend's wife uses it exclusively indoors on a treadmill. Make sure you turn off GPS in the app screen right before you start your workout, and not in the phone's main settings.
The exception to this is when you do an assessment you must do it outdoors with GPS turned On. The assessment watches your speed as you go through it and the only way the app knows how fast you are going is to use GPS to track your position over time. Otherwise it can't gauge your ability and can't properly assess you.
thanks a lot goingCoastal. That explains it.
