It would be very useful if I could add micoach calendar events to my Google Calendar (or other services).

It should be quite easy to provide a link for a pulic .ics calenendar (iCalendar standard) which could be linked from a calendar app (like google calendar or iphone calendar) as a read-only source for agenda events.

Do you forum followers agree?

Thanks

  • Definitely. I've been asking for this since the beginning. Or at least adding a calendar view of my training plan to the iPhone app. Regardless of whether I use the app or my pacer to log my training. I just want to be able to get a quick view of my plan sometimes without having to log on to my computer and load up the main website. e.g. when I'm on holiday and no access to a computer...

    • You can export your workout schedule by viewing the Schedule page (shows your calendar) and clicking on the upper right icon next to the Printer icon.

      Give it a try.

      • can you tell me what to do with the link when you copy it ?

        • Hi TomAitken,

To answer your question, here's how you can bring the Schedule link into Google calendars:

          • Once you have your Schedule link from the Manage>Schedule page, (from the blue circle Export icon in the top right of the page), then copy that link.
          • Now go into your Google calendar, in the left column go to Other Calendars.  Hit the drop-down arrow to get further options.
          • Pick 'Add by URL'
          • Then throw the link in and hit Add Calendar.

Now you should have your miCoach schedule successfully added as a new calendar.  It will be accessible under Other Calendars from then on.

          Hope this helped you!

          cheers,

          • Just did this but there is a bug. From my understanding, all workouts are schedu led by default @ 7:00AM GMT. Giving the fact that I'm in Montreal (GMT-5) I should step up the "Work Out Time of Day" at a specific time ie 11:30 if I'm planning to run @ 6:30AM. Now all of this makes sense except that there is a damn bug and I'm still seeing the workouts popping at 3:00AM on my calendar even after saving the changes I made to the settings

            Anyone can help plz?

            • Hi Riskit,

thanks for bringing this to our attention. I would really appreciate if you can contact our Support Team (support@micoach.com) about your issue. When you do it, please send them the screenshot of the time zone of you miCoach Profile and of your calendar in general.

Thanks in advance for your patience and cooperation,
