Just bought a new speed cell, and paired it to my iPhone.  I played two hours of tennis today, and when I tried to upload the data, the app said "There are no new workouts in your miCoach SPEED_CELL.  Get some training so the device can track your progress.  What do I do?  How can I get the data?  Did the cell not work or record anything?  Help.

  • I found the exact same thing. This device doenst do ANYTHING. Further, the software/app is so counter intuitive.

How about the second you plug in your device, it says, "did you just work out? Would you like to attach your results to your workout?" and then create the data to the workout analysis.

So far, I have played 3 tennis matches with this stupid thing on my shoe and so far, it hasnt done a thing.

    Ive paired the device.

    Ive synced the data

Ives clicked to "see my workouts"

    and....NOTHING.

    Returning....going to Nike.

  • Hi guys,

    Thanks for posting.

@ccranis: I checked in our system and I could see your are using the SPEED_CELL for PC/Mac, right? Now I can see that you have successful syncs from the 6th, 7th, 8th and 9th of September. Therefore, I would like to ask you: did you already assigned your data to an specific game or event on the website? Once you assign your data you are going to be able to see your results. Have a look at this post to see how to do it and follow the instructions. If you don't get the notification for assigning data on the website, please clear the Flash Asset Cache of your computer. To do it, please log in to the website, go to the calendar and there please right-click on it. Then click on Global Settings>Erase All and finally refresh.

@Ipshanet: I checked also in our system about your case and I couldn't see any synced workout. Therefore, first I would like you to check if you have the latest version of the Tennis App and if so, now please try to sync again but this time make sure that the SPEED_CELL is in the correct range, meaning within 10m from the CONNECT but no closer that 16cm. Let me know how it works.

First, I did already assign the first day ONLY to a workout, but I honestly have no idea how I did it. I cant repeat those steps.

Second, when I follow your instructions and go to "The Website" which I conclude is the Adidas miCoach site, I click on the Home Tab and nothing is there. (See below)

I have also deleted all Flash Cache and my workouts are still showing up in the calendar.

This is still not working for me...

      • Hi ccranis,

        Thanks for posting.

Here, if you want to assign data to your workouts please  follow the instructions.

About your workouts not appearing even after clearing cache I would really appreciate if you can contact our Support Team. When you do it, please add your log files. You can find them in your computer under C:\User\adidas\miCoach Manager\logs\debug.log. Finally, please add this code at the top of your  message: "SCM - your miCoach username - Discussions". You'll be contacted soon.

    • Hi Ipshanet,

      Thanks for posting.

I answer your questions in your other post. Thanks a lot for all the feedback. You can check it here.

I think I forgot to tell you how to sync from the App to the website so you can crop your data there. To do it just tap on the button as this next image shows.

Now there's an extra question that was not in your other post. About if you can use the SPEED_CELL with other Apps. Yes! You can use the SPEED_CELL with the Football, Basketball and Running Apps too. Just bare in mind that if you sync already a workout once you cannot sync the same workout again with a different App, this is because you already retrieved the data on your first sync and it is not possible to retrieve it again. But if you have a new workout, you can use any App. As an extra, you can also use the SPEED_CELL as a Stride Sensor with the miCoach App, there you can do cardio workouts pace-based and have live coaching while training. You can choose training plans on the website, sync it to the miCoach App and run. I hope this makes all clearer.

        • Hi Ipshanet,

          Thanks for posting.

I am really sorry you are still having issues with the SPEED_CELL. It seems we'll need to do some troubleshooting. Therefore I would really appreciate if you can contact our Support Team once again. Please, provide as much as detail as possible and remark that you went to shop and exchange the product. Also, add this code in your message: "SCM - Ipshanet - SD" so we are able to track it. Sorry for the inconvenience.

          Kind regards,

          • Hi Ipshanet/Miss Tennis,

I have similar problems did you resolve yours? Out of the seven or so sessions I have done it only picked up two again with weird results, like time was incorrect, no big deal but how the hell does it get the time wrong, if it cant get that right, well......

Is there a way to activate the cell for each session perhaps, for example warming up I dont move too much. Also how do I know if the battery is low?

            Cheers
