The thing never finds it when you want it too only when you test it the night before so annoyed with this product I feel like throwing it !!!! does anyone know of a heart rate monitor that works out there on the market !!!! I live in a hilly area and the pace zones mean nothing whilst using the GPS off the iphone. Sorry if this doesnt make sense but I am annoyed whilst writing it. If anyone can help that will be great its only worked once on a run and I have had it about 6months changed the battery wetting the strap holding it a different distances ?? re installed the app. This is obviously faulty and i bought from a very good german company so is there a warranty ???.

  • Hi hall247,

    thanks for posting.

I am sorry you are having issues with your Heart Rate Monitor. For what I can read in your message, I see you already tried all the recommended steps, change battery, properly wet the strap and wear it tightened and still the App have difficulties to find it. In your case, I would really appreciate if you can contact our Support Team so they can help you further with your issue. When you do it, please let them know what you have already tried, if you CONNECT is being recognized by the App, and the version and iOS of your iPhone. Finally, please add this code at the beginning of your message: SCM - "your miCoach username" -SD. One of our agents will contact you soon.

          • Hi hall247, I don't think its a matter of a storage. I was having trubbles myself to make the HRS pair with the App thru the Connect. Did you try to complety close the App from the iPhone and start it again? that works for me... (I mean: double click the home button, press and hold miCoach App till the minus icon appears, and click on the minus icon to unload miCoach, then load it again...)

Another thing that I cannot resolve is that some times the HR and the Speed Cell its not detected inside of certain areas of my house... but it does straigh away when I'm going out and start running...

Hope this helps some how... generally speaking I found the HR very accurate and pairing very fast...

            All the best!

          • Hi guys,

            thanks for posting.

@hall247: I am sorry you are having issues with your HRM. The storage of the device is correct. You have to unplug it and keep the parts separated. It is not necessary to keep each part in a different drawer or place. Try to pair your HRM again and see if that helps. If not, I kindly ask you if you can get in contact with our Support Team one more time and let them know that the problem still persists. Please, add again this code at the beginning of your message: "SCM - your miCoach username- Forum". Sorry for the inconvenience.

@gdamato: Thanks a lot for your comment and for your tips and your feedback. We really appreciate when the members of the miCoach community help each other.

            Regards,

              • Hi hall247,

                thanks for posting.

I am sorry you are having issues with your SPEED_CELL. This is not ideal of course. You can use the SPEED_CELL with both Apps. That shouldn't be an issue.

This is the first time you are pairing the SPEED_CELL, right?

Please make sure it is within 10 meters from the CONNECT but no closer than 16cm. Also, please activate the SPEED_CELL before pairing it. You can do that either shaking it a bit and then leave it for some time and then try to pair again or you can place it in your shoelaces and walk around 24 strides and try again. Also, plug and unplug the CONNECT a couple of times and give it another shot.

About your HRM, I can see you are still in contact with our agent trying to solve your issue. If you have further questions please let us know.

                • About this... I have problems with this too... my speed cell is not sendging information to my ipod... the CONNECT is not finding the Speed Cell... and if its finding it will not sync... the only way I can sync is trying a lot of times till it happens (but really a lot of times... 20+) or doing it thur the computer... that happens straign away...

The weird part is that the CONNECT detect the Speed Cell as a Stride Sensor very quickly... the problem is not with the Adidas miCoach App but with the other Apps... (tennis, running, etc)

                  • Hi! Actually I'm still with the same problem... the only way I get connection straight away is with the PC/MAC dongle. The Connect for ipod/iphone is giving me a lot of headaches connecting the Speed Cell... (in my case its working fine as a stride sensor too...)

Last time I went to play tennis so I wanted to sync the prev data with my ipod and I try more than 20 times without success... then back home I try with the usb dongle and was found and sync without problems...

  • Hi Guys,

No problem... Just wanted to add that I use it different...

Step 1: I attach the sensor to the textile strap

Step 2: I put the textile strap on (moisturising the part of the strap that touch my body)

Step 3: I attach the CONNECT to the iPod

Step 4: I open miCoach App setting up my next run... (at this time I'm walking out the house... so I had the strap on for 1-2 minutes...)

    Step 5: Searching...

Step 6: Heart Rate Sensor Found... (and the Stride Sensor too...)

Usually it catch me with 76-81 BPM

Hope you can get your run done

    All the best!

    Gas

      • Glad you can finally use it

About loosing the signal... the only time that happens to me was with low battery on the stripe?

        All the best,

        Gas
