Hi,

I'm searching a pair of adidas shoes for the speedcell sensor to play five-a-side football, but I didn't find it.

Do you know if there's a model for this sport?

thanks

  • Hi DellaeMme,

thanks for posting and sorry for the late reply.

Since it is for five-a-side football I am guessing you need turf shoes, right? At the moment the turf range of shoes are not compatible. However, this suggestion has been already passed to the football department and maybe we can see them soon.

Thanks for your interest. If you have further issues, please let us know

      • Hi DellaeMme,

yes, the Calcetto shoes are turf shoes and unfortunately this type of shoes do not have the mid-sole cavity for the miCoach SPEED_CELL. However, you still can place it on your shoelaces. Wearing the SPEED_CELL on the shoe laces using the lace clip or in the cavity of miCoach compatible shoes will allow for highest level of data accuracy.  If it is used in any other way than recommended (with lace clip or in cavity), adidas does not guarantee the same level of data accuracy.

If you have further questions, please let us know.

        • I could not find a proper topic so I've decided to post here the result of my investigation, might help to others as well. I had the chance to browse the 2013 adidas football catalog and found the following micoach-compatible turf shoes:

          • Q20928 Predator Absolion LZ TRX TF (also available in other color with code Q20929)
          • Q21110 F30 TRX TF (also available in other color with code Q21112)
          • Q23817 11Core TRX TF

Not much, but now at least we have some options. The suggested retail prices (MSRP) are 130, 120 and 100 EUR for these models.

The best way to find more information or stores nearby is to use the internal code of the shoes in Google, and not the name because it can be misleading due to the similar model names, numbers and affixes.

I hope indoor shoes will follow in winter 2013.
