If you. like me, did not use micoach because it can not handle heart rate measurement under android you may find this usefull.
I had a go at it and it turns out you can run Endomondo and Micoach simultaneously. Start up endomono, wait for the gps and heart rate and start a workout, than minimize it and start using micoach. Endo will track all usual thing including heart rate and Micoach will function (speed based of course).
It's not ideal, zone based training can only be done 100% correct based on heart rate, but it is a step in the right direction.
It was a bit funny, the GPS of Endo and Micoach are in synch, zo every km endo and micoach both gave audo feedback making it hadr to make out what either one was saying..so better turn of the audio coaching of endo
This may work with other programs, i haven't tried since i used endo.
If you do start using micoach, it very good for interval based training, the coaching could be better..sometimes it's not clear if you are running in the zone you are supposed to be based on the audio feedback..but overall it's good and a lot of times it does confirm you are in the correct zone.
