Lost yet another workout!!!

It is getting really irritating, especially when you've put in so much effort.

Its great when it works but I can't really trust it to be reliable.  I'm considering taking it back to the shop to ask for a refund.

The pacer also beeped randomly has this happened to anyone else?

  • Hi designclash,

    Thanks for the honest feedback.

Sorry for the lost workout and for the unpleasant experience you're having with your Pacer.

I understand that it's such a pain to lose the data as you've put so much effort doing the workout.

Unfortunately the lost workout data can't be retrieved again. However, please try the following steps that can help to prevent this issue from happening again:

    • log in on the micoach.com and go to Settings> Pacer.
    • Change the narration voice and click "Save".
    • run the miCoach manager and plug in the Pacer. Don't sync the Pacer at this stage.
    • Go to Edit> Diagnostics> use Erase data and then reset the Pacer to factory defaults. This method will erase all data from your Pacer.
    • Sync your Pacer now.

These stpes are likely to reduce the missing workout issue:

    1. Log in to micoach.com and go to Settings> Pacer. Select "Never" under update for "Play Every".
    2. Sync the Pacer right after the workout.

If this missing workout issue happens more than twice in a month, please contact our support team (support@micoach.com) with the following details as they can assist you further:

    • Workout details (time, date, type of sport, type of workout: planned or free?)
    • Did you press the update or pause button during your workout?
    • Did you use an MP3 player while working out?
    • What operating system (Windows XP, Vista, 7 or Mac?) do you use for synching your Pacer?
    • Send your log files that can be found in the following location: Windows XP/Vista/7 & Mac OS X: <User's home folder>\adidas\miCoach Manager\logs\debug.log

I appreciate your patience and cooperation.

    Thanks,

    SportySpider1

    Your miCoach Team
