Hi MakosMB,
Thanks for the post.
I can confirm that there hasn't been any change made for measuring the assessment workout.
I think this might have been caused due to GPS signal. As you are using the miCoach mobile App for the assessment workout, the GPS signal can affect the assessment workout data. You need to have a good GPS signal for the data accuracy.
Check the route of your assessment workout recorded by GPS and see if the recorded route is correct. If GPS is low or lost, it means that the signal is coming in less frequent and will give less accuracy. This will cause loss of the GPS points needed to draw the respective route hence, the route may be inaccurate which may also affect the total distance of your workout and calculation of speed/pace.
Which mobile phone do you have?
Place your phone in an armband or elsewhere so that the phone has good exposure to the sky and the GPS connection. It should be noted that when the phone is in your pocket, the GPS data might not be very optimal.
For more information on the position of the antenna on your specific phone model, please refer to your phone provider.
Also make sure that you do your assessment workout in an open area where there are no big trees and brigde or tunnel.
Thanks,
SportySpider1

Thanks for the heads up. I use an iPhone 3GS and I suppose it might be time to upgrade but I had used it recently and no issue with the overall workout once I got started (the first minute has always been a little slow to catch up to my pace).
I'll try again and see if I can get better results.
