Hey danielok,
Thanks for writing! I hope to give some clarification here.
With the miCoach app, yes - syncing the app accepts the new zones from your Training tab. It works a little different with the SPEED_CELL.
All of the SPEED_CELL zones are based on a percentage of Max Speed. When you change your zones in your web account, (under Settings>Trainings tab) the Football app is not affected. But, when you reach a new Max Speed while using the SPEED_CELL, then this becomes the new top of your Red Zone and subsequently both your Red and Yellow zones (the sprinting zones) are updated, based on this new Maximum Speed.
I hope this makes sense, let me know if you have further questions.
cheers,
RocknRun15
Hi RocknRun15,
I was about to ask the same question, so thanks for the clarification!
However, from what i've experienced, the Blue and Green zones have been updated as well and thus making cardio training a lot harder. Actually, the zones seem to be reset to default everytime I sync with a sport-specific app.

Hi radames9htv,
Thanks for your post. I would like to clarify your issue because it seems you are bringing up 2 different points here. Let me know if I have summarized correctly, and if not please reply with the correct situation(s).
1- All of your zones are updated any time you reach a new Max Speed. Not just your Yellow and Red Zones.
2- When you say that the zones seem to be reset to default every time you sync- this is happening when you sync a workout in which you did not reach a new Max Speed.
Since it's not possible for all zones to be updated with a new Max Speed and for the zones to be set back to default simultaneously, I appreciate getting further details from you as to whether the above is your issue.
thanks!

Hi RocknRun15,
Now I'm sure that the zones are always reset to default after sync with sport-specific apps, regardless of whether I reach a new Max Speed or not.
Cheers!

This is a shame, since now my Speed_Cell results and not comparable with my team mates, as we have different maximum speeds.
Also, I achieved the max (26km) on my first time using the Speed_Cell, and haven't beaten 23kmh since then despite my best efforts, so I think it may not quite have been calibrated properly on the initial run. This makes it quite difficult to get any work in the Red zone.
And also, if I adjust the zone online, sync MiCoach, then use the Speed_Cell, MiCoach on the iPhone would go back to the Speed_cell settings.
I am having the same issue as danielok.
I primarily use micoach instead of the sports apps and use the Speedcell more as a stride sensor than anything. however I do sync both the running (sports app) and micoach, this seems to reset the zones which cranks up my green zone to quite a high pace (green seems to reset to 11.3-14.6 km/h) so I have to go back to my web account and reduce my zones slightly.
I also noticed recently, and I'm not sure this is connected to the same issue, that my lifetime stats show up fine on the home page but then if you click view all I only have one workout logged. No big deal but a bit of a bug it seems.
Other than that I love the micoach system, especially with the connect on my iphone.
Hi petebarnes,
A question about your SPEED_CELL zone updating - are you doing any separate sprint workouts with just your SPEED_CELL where you might reach a new Max Speed, or are you just syncing your SPEED_CELL after a regular miCoach app workout and this cranks up your zones? Also, is it increasing all zones or just the green? Please let me know.
Next, regarding you seeing the wrong Lifetime Stats when you click on View All from the home page, I would appreciate it if you would send an email over to support@micoach.com and detail the issue. Include a screenshot of the your Lifetime Stats box on the home page and a screenshot of the View All page so the team can see the error in comparison. Also let them know what browser you are using. All of this info really helps the team in assessing the issue and coming to a solution.
Thank you!
