Last night I boucht Addidas F50, and i followed the instruction on how to connect the Micoach to the Iphone. And still it says EVERYTIME : No devices found,please make sure that your miCoach SPEED_CELL is in range before trying again.

 

How can I fix this?

    Thanks for your question.  Let's go through some basic steps and make sure that you have done all these.

     

    • Activate the SPEED_CELL by gently tapping or moving your foot around
    • Launch the miCoach App on your iPhone
    • Make sure the SPEED_CELL is within 10 meters of the CONNECT but no closer than 16 centimeters. Multiple SPEED_CELLS should also be no closer than 16 centimeters to each other.
    • Log in to your account or create an account on miCoach.com
    • Insert miCoach CONNECT for iPod and iPhone.  Make sure that the CONNECT is securely inserted and that the CONNECT icon appears.   If the CONNECT icon does not appear:
      • Unplug CONNECT for iPod/iPhone and plug it back in (all the way)
      • Close the App and start it back up
      • Quit the App by double clicking the iPod/iPhone home button and hold the App icon to stop App entirely
    • Next, Select Settings from the start screen. Go to Manage Devices
    • Click on add device to initiate search for your SPEED_CELL. You will see the identified SPEED_CELL on the add device screen (make sure your SPEED_CELL is within range).
    • Customize your SPEED_CELL by entering a device name and setting up a password. If you click on Set Default Device the credentials will be locked. The star shows when this is done.

     

    If you have gone through all the steps above and still cannot add your SPEED_CELL, then please let me know and we'll go from there!

        Thanks for posting. Before I can keep on your issue, I would appreciate if you could answer me some quick questions.

         

        Is your CONNECT being recognized by the App? Meaning can you see the CONNECT icon on the bottom of the screen surrounded by a green color?

         

        Can you see any SPEED_CELL being recognized by the App, or is with the pairing process where you are having issues?

         

        I would appreciate if you can give some feedback on this.

          I´m having the same issue with my speed_cell and have tried to follow the steps described above but are still having problems. When trying to add device on the soccer app on my iPhone, the CONNECT icon is highlighted by a green color and the "searching for device" process is going on like forever. I.e. the speed_cell is never recognized by the app.

           

          FYI: The same devices (connector and speed_cell) are working perfectly fine when used with the miCoach app and as a plain foot sensor with the same iPhone.

            Sorry to hear that your SPEED_CELL can't be found by the Soccer App on your iPhone, even though the CONNECT for iPhone/iPod can be recognized by the App and the SPEED_CELL can be found by the miCoach mobile App.

             

            Could you please check my post here as I already gave some instruction regarding this issue in another thread?

    There is a new info regarding pairing/synching SPEED_CELL via iPhone. Please have a look at our post in the following link:

    If you are experiencing issue with Football App, alternatively try the steps below:

     

    1. Download any of the other Sports Apps (Running, Basketball, Tennis)
    2. Launch the App
    3. Add device
    4. Go back to the main menu and ask the user to sync
    5. If the syncing is successful, edit the data.

    6. Then when assigning the data, choose the Football (Soccer) option from the scrolling menu.

    7. Go back to the main menu and sync the App to the website

    8.  login to your miCoach account and check on history the latest workout. You can check your football data in your web account.
