Hello - I am able to play my playlist from Google music but the feedback/music volume control is not working. I have a Galaxy S II. Anyone have any ideas how to get it to work?

  • Hi mlinderman,

    Thanks for the post.

Can I ask you a question regarding your issue?

    • Are you playing your playlist on the phone putting in the back ground or can you select the playlist you created from Google music on the Review page of the miCoach mobile App?

I kindly ask you to create the playlist with Winamp app that you can download at the Google Play and select the playlist on the review page of the miCoach mobile App to play and see if the volume control works.

Please let me know if this helps.

If this doesn't help, please let me know the OS version of your mobile phone so that I can check with our app developers.

    Thanks,

    SportySpider1

      • Hi mlinderman,

Thanks for the details and sorry for the delayed response.

I am checking this with our app developers and will get back to you as soon as I get any information from them.

I appreciate your kind patience and cooperation.

    • I'm also using google music. When I select the google playlist from micoach it never plays the playlist. It actually seems like its playing all of my various ringtones, notifications, and alerts.

      • Hi Gianakis,

        Thanks for the post.

Could you please try creating playlist with winamp app and see if the miCoach mobile App can play that playlist?

If the miCoach mobile App still can't play the playlist created with winamp, please let me know the exact phone model, its OS version as well as the miCoach mobile App version installed on your phone.

        Thanks,

        SportySpider1

          • Hi mlinderman,

            Thanks for the update.

I see! Is the latest version of the miCoach mobile App 2.0.8823 installed on your and your wife's phone?

I've already forwarded these issues to our app developers.

I'll get back to you as soon as I get some information from them.

Your patience is very much appreciated.

            Have a nice weekend!

            Thanks,

              • Hi mlinderman,

                Thanks for the useful information.

Sorry I couldn't get back to you as I'm still waiting for some information from our app guys.

I understand that the solution you figured out is pretty inconvenient and that it's such a pain.

Indeed, this info can be very helpful for our App guys. I've passed it on to them.

I'll let you know as soon as there is any update on this. Hopefully soon!

I appreciate your patience and understanding.

                Thanks,

                SportySpider1

                • Just a +1 to the same issues:

                  • incorrect songs
                  • not the full playlist

Using an AT&T Samsung Galaxy S2 here, unrooted (latest official firmware), with the latest version of the miCoach Android app.

If I had to guess, I'd hazard that the app is playing songs from the Google music player cache and their IDs (or whatever) have gotten mixed up.

I've also recently been doing a lot of playlist editing in Google Play/Music on the PC.  I don't know if it's prior to *that*, or the latest miCoach update that this started happening.

Thank you for the quick support responses to the OP!  Glad to know this is already being looked at.
