Hi msc00,
Thanks for posting.
Only miCoach sensors are compatible with the App and the CONNECT. For that reason, I would kindly ask you to contact our Support Team. When you do it, please let them know what is the issue with your CONNECT and please send a screenshot where the App shows the icon in red. Finally, include this code at the top of your message: "SCM - your miCoach screen name - Forum". You will be contacted soon.
Thanks a lot for your cooperation.

Any ANT+ HRM or stride sensor should work with the app. The adidas sensors are ANT+ and therefore must comply to the standard. My Garmin sensors work fine with iPhone and adidas connect.
You do need to use the adidas connect dongle with the app however. Wahoo, Garmin dongles etc. won't work, as far as I'm aware.
Well, I have done that and have not received a response off any kind from Support yet. Any advice?
Hi msc00,
Thanks for the update and sorry for the delay in my response.
I've checked with our support team and could see that the reply mail was sent to you one day after (22.07) you've contacted them.
Have you checked your spam folder as well?
Our support agent has just sent you the reply mail again in case you couldn't receive it . So please check your email account as well as spam folder.
Please let me know if you could receive their mail this time.
Thanks,

Hmmm unfortunately I still dont see it. I do get emails from these forums as well as my workout weekly summaries, but cannot see anything from Support in my inbox or Spam folder. Can they send it one more time (and let me know what the sender email address will read specifically so I can remove it from my Spam rules).
Thanks. Good to know that your customer service wasnt ignoring me. ![]()

Hi MSC. I also use micoach mobile for iPhone 4S and regret to say my problem is quite similar! My connect+HRM its not longer recognized by the mobile, the red icon always is on and a msg : "device not compatible with iPhone" displayed immy i set the connect device on the mobile. I tried everything from remove sensor battery for 24 hrs, replace battery, reload miCoach app, reload iPhone iOS, went to a service shop to review my iPhone contact pins, to get connect + HRM exchanged at Adidas shop. Weird thing its that connect its recognized in other iPhone 4S using same iOS than mine! Customer Service transfer my case to Tech Service but no reply yet. Appreciate you let me know what they advise you to do. BR, Carlos.
I posted this on another forum post...."There appears to be a serious hardware issue with the Connect device. They clearly need to improve the quality of the connection pins. They seem to fail or are simply too sensitive in requiring a perfectly clean port. It will work great for a few months on a brand new Iphone, but once the port experiences the slightest dirt (which it always will), no matter how well you clean it, it wont do any good. When there is a partial connection you will get the message "Accessory not supported by IPhone". After awhile you probably wont even get that. All other devices made for the Iphone port (chargers, etc) appear to be made with better pins or have redundancy in place that allow them to work with the normal wear of the Iphone port. I'm going to try using a small Iphone Port Extender (they make these so that Iphones with thick cases can reach docks), so the Connect hardware attaches to basically a brand new clean port. Hopefully that works, because otherwise the only solution that I can see, is for Adidas to retool their device. It bums me out because I love the MiCoach running app over other apps, but its kind of useless if they cant get their hardware built right."
I have tried the port extender I got today and it works! Basically it's a small extension adaptor that connects to the iPhone port. The MiCoach Connect hardware attaches to the extender. I believe this proves my theory regarding the pins used on the Connect hardware.

EDIT:
I did receive an email from Customer Support today offering to replace the Connect if under warantee and upon return of the defective product, but I have responded that it wont help. The Port Extender works great (although it adds an extra inch of length to the Connect device) and a new Connect device will not fix the problem as I stated above...the defect is in the manufacturing (I've gone through 3 of these devices and 2 iphones so I know). Save yourself aggrevation and spend a dollar or so on a Port Extender if you have similar problems. It works!

Thanks M for your kind reply. Lucky you could solve your problem. Where did you get the port extender? Lastly but not less important, would like your authorization to address your answer to Tech Department (I use spanish website). BR, Carlos
You can get them on Ebay or Amazon. As far as authorization goes...sure. Dont know why you need it but go for it. I will say that my previous post sounds very absolute, and everyone may not have the same problem. But for a little more than a dollar its worth trying. Worked for me.

Fine, thanks! Will try to get one port extender, I guess....Carlos
