Sorry to hear that GPS keeps dropping during your run. I understand this can be frustrating and I can feel your pain.
I, however, can assure you that there hasn't been any changes made to the miCoach mobile App recently.
Which Android phone model do you have?
Regarding GPS issue, please try the following steps:
Please note that some android phones have weak GPS. So please use an app (like Tracker Booster) to improve the performance of GPS in your phone.
