Hi

I cant get my iPhone to recognise my heart rate sensor or stride sensor. I have logged on and have an account etc but the icon in the bottom left of the iPhone screen is red and it wont let me add the heart sensor or stride sensor.

Please can you help me.

Kind regards

  • Hi janeadyer,

    Thanks for the post.

Regarding your issue, I'd like to ask you few questions to help you further with your issue:

    • Can the miCoach CONNECT for iPhone/iPod recognized by the miCoach mobile App? You need the miCoach CONNECT for iPhone/iPod so that the sensors can be paired with the miCoach mobile App. Once you plug in the CONNECT to the iPhone, the CONNECT symbol at the left button will turn green when you go to Settings> Sensors.
    • Make sure that you are wearing your Heart Rate Monitor properly when pairing the Heart Rate Monitor. Please check how to wear the Heart Rate Monitor Guide here. Make sure that the Stride Sensor is activated (shake it for few seconds as it can be activated by movement) before pairing. Once they are found, the miCoach mobile App will tell you and the heart rate icon and shoe icon on the right top will turn green.

If the CONNECT for iPhone/iPod can't be recognized by the iPhone, please try following steps:

    • Remove the CONNECT from the iPhone and connect it again. Please try 2-3 times and see if the miCoach mobile App can recognize it.
    • Remove iPhone case (if you have one), as the CONNECT might not be able to be inserted all the way due to the case.
    • Close the miCoach mobile App completely (close the App and double click the iPhone home button and hold on the miCoach mobile App icon. Once it starts shaking, click "-" sign to close it completely. Open the miCoach mobile App and plug in the CONNECT to the iPhone again.
    • If the CONNECT still can't be recognized, reboot/ restart your iPhone.
    • Reinstall the miCoach mobile App and see if the CONNECT then can be found.

    Hope this helps.

Please let me know how it works.

    Thanks,

    • Hi janeadyer,

It might be that you need to pair your sensors with the Pacer, to do it, please following the next instructions of this guide: http://bit.ly/ImGTYv

Give it a go and let me know how it goes,

      Thanks!

        • Hi janeadyer,

          Thanks for posting.

In order the sensors can be recognized you have to add them first to the App. To do it, go to the main menu and then click on Settings>Sensors and then tap on HRM first so it can be added and then go back and do the same for the Stride Sensor. Once this is done, then pick the workout you want to do and in the Review just choose the HRM and Stride Sensor that you have previously added. Then, click next and wait for them to be picked up by the App. Don't forget to have the CONNECT plugged in all the time.

          I hope this helps!
