Searching sensors, stride sensor found, heart rate sensor NOT FOUND.  This is the message I get when I turn on my unit.

  • Hi here is a link where you could find a solution http://bit.ly/1000Y1S

    • Hi Sarang,

The link that you provided is broken... I just got my pacer a few days ago, and it only works for me in day 1... replaced the battery, but my pacer still could not find my HRM... Did wet the sensor before I putted it on, and wear it tight... what else do I miss? Fast heartbeat rate to "activate" it, for every single use?

Please shine me some lights on this... I'm desperate to know if my HRM/textile strap sensors could possibly be defective...

      Thank you in advance.

        • i have a similar problem with the heart rate sensor but pairing and replacing the battery didn't fix it.  it was working until a few weeks ago. what other tricks are there to try?

          • Hi Mastaple,

I totally understand your frustration. I was having the same problem with my HRM for one whole week! Did everything I could to replace several batteries, try and error... in the end i was still having the same thing - it won't work until yesterday. My HRM finally got work and my pacer could pick it up within a few seconds I turned it on.

Try to "reset calibration" at your miCoach web console at Settings>>Gears>>Configure MiCoach Pacer, then; under accessories section please make sure both of your HRM and SS checkbox are checked and then click "reset calibration", and save.

Then connect your miCoach pacer to your computer and run the synchronisation.

Your pacer should be able to pickup your HRM now. (BTW, dont forget to wet your HRM sensor before you on the pacer)

            Hope these helps!

            • thanks Caesar.  unfortunately, this didn't do anything for me.  the reset calibrations button was darked out so that I couldn't reset.  I think this means that it's working from the default calibrations. I appreciate the suggestion though.  Any other suggestions?  Best Regards, Mike

  • Is there a solution for this? I have tried everything and I still cannot make the HR work after a battery change.
