I've been using micoach for about 3 months and I have just used a heart rate monitor to do a run for the first time which i thought was great and i really want to continue using it, the only problem is that the GPS did not seem to work very well whilst i was also using the heart rate monitor and because of this it has only tracked half my run, this means that i dont have an accurate distance or an accurate pace whilst running? without these there is no point using the heart rate monitor and i might as well go back to just using the GPS to run which i really dont want to do? any help would be much apriciated!

  • Yes, of course! Select manage -> Routes please and take the route you want to edit. It comes with a lot of route points, you can take and move any of them. Don't forget to save the route after the changes.

    • Hi Fretty,

@YuryN is completely right (thanks for helping out here ). It is possible to change your route. Go to Manage>Routes and follow the few steps provided in the following link on how to do this. Please, first make sure to save the erroneous GPS route to your routes list, so you can edit it. Then in the future you will be able to add it to new workouts: http://community-micoach.adidas.com/message/49433#49433.

Now, regarding the GPS I would appreciate if you can tell me how are you wearing your phone while running.  Do you use an armband, do your have it in your pocket, in your hand, front or back of your body?  Is there good exposure to the sky at all points? Do you run in an area with trees or tall structures like buildings? This is important because GPS signal can be lost when you are in areas that obstruct the open sky.

I look forward to your feedback!

        • Hi Fretty,

Super, yes, give it another shot please and let us know how it goes now. It might be that the armband cause a little interference in between or as you say the trees on your route. When using your mobile please try to use it with the display facing outward.

          Thanks!
