Hi carlangasz,
Thanks for the post.
The Heart Rate Monitor battery should last for 1,000 hours of workout time or approximately 2years of normal use at 1 hour per day under normal condition.
The Heart Rate Monitor will automatically return to standby mode when the electrodes are no longer stimulated (by wetness and your heartbeat). Be sure to follow these steps to ensure your heart rate monitor stays off when not using:
Hope this helps.

Thank you for your response it was useful, but I did everything you said, except yesterday after i ran 42 minutes I started having an allergy to shrimps... anyway 6 minutes later I arrive home and took a shower without the HRM so I forgot to un-snap it after 45 minutos I did it. Now battery is dead in less than 1,000 hours, used it for around 6 hours maybe 8 hours, un-snap it and left in a dry place.
update:
could it be that i didn't put the four screws not that tight? maybe a little bit loose that they weren't doing the correct contact with the battery?
Hi carlangasz,
Thanks for the update.
Can I ask you few questions?

If the Pacer can't find the Heart Rate Monitor again even after replacing the Battery, please try following steps:
Hope this helps.

I'm still having the same problem, even with the last steps you gave. And wait for another answer, even this week I un-strap the HRM and the SS put them on my locker I couldn't run for week and the battery died today at the middle of the trainning.
Once again, thanks!
