I would ignore the 5 calories per minute. I doubt the system is accurate enough, nor is it designed to gauge your resting calorie burn. Your BMR is not 3600 unless you're about 8 feet tall.
It seems to be reasonably accurate when I compare the calorie burn with that on a treadmill. Over 55 minutes yesterday the treadmill gave me a reading of 778 and micoach was 816, about 5% accuracy. You need to make sure you enter your weight in the micoach settings.
