  • Hi carlangasz,

    Thanks for the post.

The Heart Rate Monitor battery should last for 1,000 hours of workout time or approximately 2years of normal use at 1 hour per day under normal condition.

The Heart Rate Monitor will automatically return to standby mode when the electrodes are no longer stimulated (by wetness and your heartbeat). Be sure to follow these steps to ensure your heart rate monitor stays off when not using:

    1. Un-snap the heart rate monitor from the Textile Transmitter strap. Failure to do so may result in corrosion of the connectors and deteriorated performance of the Heart Rate Monitor.
    2. Store the Heart Rate Monitor and Textile Transmitter Strap in a dry place. If the heart rate monitor or the Textile Transmitter Strap comes into contact with a damp surface such as a towel, it may remain activated and run down the battery.

    Hope this helps.

    Thanks,

      • Hi carlangasz,

        Thanks for the update.

Can I ask you few questions?

Could the Pacer find your Heart Rate Monitor after replacing the battery?

If the Pacer can't find the Heart Rate Monitor again even after replacing the Battery, please try following steps:

        • Go to Settings> Pacer and check if both Heart Rate Monitor and Stride Sensor are selected under Accessories. If not, please select both sensors and click "Save". Now you need to sync your Pacer again to upload the changes onto the Pacer.
        • Make sure that you are wearing your Heart Rate Monitor properly and don't forget to moisten the electrodes at the backside of the Strap. Please check the Guide here.
        • Make sure that you've replaced the battery of the Heart Rate Monitor correctly. Please check the Guide here. Make sure that the case is closed well and that the red rubber is placed properly around the battery.
        • Try re-pairing the Heart Rate Monitor with the Pacer as instructed in the Guide here.

        Hope this helps.
