Hi torobucks,
Thanks for your post. I'd like to know how you are wearing your phone while running. In an armband, pocket, in your hand, front or back side of the body? Is there good exposure to the sky at all points? It seeems to be, but it's hard to tell from the pics, since they don't expand.
I'll need these details and then I will then pass your details and the screen shots to the development team so as to attain some further analysis and feedback from them.
Thank you,
RocknRun15
I was wearing my iphone with an armband. And running around a stadium. The stadium may cover some Satellite while I turning. But I using the Nike+ at the same condition. I guess that because the Nike+ also using the build-in accelerator or gyro sensor to fix the GPS location?
Great, thanks for the added info torobucks.
I will be forwarding this on and will get back to you as soon as I have a response. Obstructions from the sky could effect the GPS and cause some of these issues.
Thanks again for your post.
regards,
RocknRun15
I have the same problem, the last three days (two out of three). i'm wearing mine iphone in an armband (from adidas) and the signal seems to travel some kilometers without me....
Only the last days i have troubles with it, the weeks before there where no problems.....
regards,
Fred
Agree with Fred and Torobucks, GPS is btw 0.5-1km too fast, which obviously throws the times out and makes the coaching somewhat meaningless. I have checked this against the Nike+ app which is more accurate. Please could you fix this as it brings into question the legtimacy of the app. Thanks
