Hi folks,

My run today didn't upload successfully to the miCoach website. I've emailed Support, but I'm posting the details here as well in case there's a more general difficulty with synching Pacers at the moment.

I ran using the 'free run' mode of my Pacer, with it fully charged. After my run, I switched the Pacer to 'off' as usual, and heard the workout summary and the confirmation 'workout saved'.

However the run did not appear on the miCoach website. Looking at the log file (attached), you can see the attempted sync at 18:38 on 9th April 2012. The Pacer indicates that it has no files to upload to the website. The previous workout, on 7th April, uploaded successfully.

Looking at the log, there is one entry in today's sync that does not appear in other syncs:

[20120409 18:38:06.080] [Detect#001] [-] Pacer directory is inconsistent.

No idea whether that's a clue or simply a red herring...

Stuart.

  • I have had same problem today - It would be great if the info was not 'lost' - It was a scheduled interval run with battery fully charged. There were no problems over the weekend with 2 other workouts synced and loaded onto website successfully.

If you get a reply from adidas I would be interested.

    Cheers

    • I also have the same problem, when i use it in micoach mode and sync i have never had a problem, however when running in free mode, today was the second time that nothing uploaded even though i heard the workout summary and that it was being saved.

I hope addidas is trying to fix this

    • Hi Thanks for this - I have completed the steps suggested and have a scheduled run on Thursday. Will let you know how I go

      Cheers

  • Hi all!

    Thanks for posting.

@Stuart: I've seen in our system that one of our agents contacted you in past days. Just want to check if everything is fine. Also, thanks for adding the log files, they always help a lot

@Brigit and Lightningfoot1: Thanks for posting. If you are having a similar issue like Stuart, it might be that there is corrupt data on your Pacer and it needs to be deleted. Therefore, I would appreciate if you can try the following:

    1. First, please make sure that your Manager is fully closed before you plug in your device. Once it is plugged in, you will see a blue icon called “Edit” under the picture of the Pacer in the Manager. Click on it and go to Diagnostics<Choose Erase data from device.

    2. Also, please change the narration voice of your Pacer. You can do this on the website under Settings > Pacer> Narration voice (you can change it afterwards to the one already had).

    3. Save the changes on the website, unplug your Pacer, close the Manager completely and plug your Pacer back in and now try to sync again.

Let me know how it goes!
