Hey everyone,  I'm new to the whole speedcell thing i had a game last night and wore my f50s i brought my chip in when i got home sync'd it and all i got was a time chart showing speeds through the time i played, but i want the distance and everyhing else that is suppose to be displayed, how do i get this stuff to show up it looks like it should show up in achievements but i cant get anything but that chart.    Thanks for the help!

    So once you sync up your workout/game with the adidas up what do you see? Have you clicked on Avatar in your work out?

        Just to make sure, you've assigned the SPEED_CELL data to a workout but when you go to the track> latest workout, all stats show 0. Is this correct?

         

        Can I ask you few questions regarding your issue?

         

        • How did the SPEED_CELL raw data look on the graph before assigning the data? Were there data on the graph as you clicked on "assign data" button?

         

        • Have you cropped some data on the graph or did you select all data?

         

        • Would it be possible for you to post the screenshot of this workout result where all stats show 0 so that I can have a look?

  • I got excatly same problem... I see a graph and top speed there etc. But when I click Track--> latest workout=everythng there shows as I haven't done anything. Just 0's.

     

    I use SPEED_CELL too with PC.

    For @leblanc18, I am sorry you are having problems with the SPEED_CELL. We do not want that the users have a hard time with it but the contrary. Just to be sure, you are assigning the data to a Football workout, right? Now, if after assigning the data as I explained and the video shows you are still seeing just 0's in your stats but the graphs are ok, then I would like to ask you to please contact our Support Team (support@micoach.com). When you do it, please let them know that you have the SPEED_CELL for PC/Mac, which computer do you have, its OS, let them know what you have tried until now and please add a screenshot of how the 0's are shown. Someone will contact you soon and follow your case.

  • Hi Guys,

     

    First of all, sorry for the delayed response.

     

    I understand this can be annoying and can feel your pain.

     

    Let's go through step by step how you can assign the data to make sure.

     

    1. Go to Home section and you will see the following notification. Click on "Assign data"

       2. You will see your SPEED_CELL data graph. Drag your mouse across the graph to select the data. The selected data will be marked in blue.

       3. Once you select the data on the graph you'd like to keep, the following window pops up. The Games/events workout you've scheuduled show up under select existing Games. If you haven't assigned the games/events workout in your schedule before, click on activity type of the workout under "Create New games".

       4. Insert detail information in the Basic and Game details tabs.

       5. When you click on "result" tab, all stats show 0 as you haven't assigned the data yet. You don't need to insert the data manually. Just click on "Save and Exit".

      6. You'll see the selected data on the graph. Please note that the selected data( the part only marked in blue) will be counted as valid data and the other unselected data will be deleted. Now click on "save".

       7. You'll get the following notification. Make sure that you have selected data correctly. All data that aren't marked in Blue will be deleted.

      8. Check your result under Track> Latest workout.

     

    If you guys have assigned the data correctly but the workout result under Track> Latest workout show all 0, please send an email over to our support team(support@micoach.com) with screenshot of your workout result so that they can look into it.

    • Doesn't work for me and really annoying now. In my experiance www.micoach.com is inconsistance for speed cell workouts. starting to regret ever buying one. I don't get the "Assign data" notification. At least non that I can see.

        Thanks for your post. I am sorry that you are having issues with your SPEED_CELL. If you cannot find any data to assign, please contact our Support Team (support@micoach.com). When you do it, please let them know which computer do you have (PC or Mac) and its OS. Also, let them know the date of the workout that is missing and additionally, add your log files, you can find them under: \adidas\miCoach Manager\logs\debug.log. One of our agents will contact you soon.

    • This was helpful, thanks for that. But I wouldn't like to send  that e-mail, 'cause it'd be quicker if someone would know and tell me here, why my Latest Workout doesn't show anything even I did do all those things and it was on part 6? I saved it and stuff but still nothing.

      I am just started with the speedcell for PC in combination with a Samsung Galaxy S3 phone (Android4.1).

      Today I have done two workouts, sync it in the gym (only times received by Mi Coach) and sync it at home via the PC.

      Mi Coach received the data as unassigned data. So the data must be assigned to the two workouts (assesment workout and a runners workout for 10KM schema, both are in the Mi Coach schedule for today.

       

      Thanks for the detail instructions for assigning data to a workout.

      I have two questions.

       

      Question 1:

      For me step 3 is not working, I do not get a pop-up window.

      The data is selected and blue, I release the mouse-button and nothing happen.

      If I use mouse-button clicks instead of releasing also nothing happen.

       

      How can I solve this?

       

      Question 2:

      I have two workouts in the unassigned data.

      How can I assign data two two different workouts?

        Thanks for posting.

         

        Answering to the question one, first I would recommend you to clear the cookies and cache from your browser and to please check that you have the latest Java and Flash versions installed/updated and try again. If not, try from another browser. If this still not working for you, then go first to your calendar and on the left side you'll see some blue letters that say "Games and Events". Click on it and then you'll see a menu with many types of workouts. Then, choose the one you did those days and drag them to the correct date on the calendar. Then try to assign the data to the workout again and see if now works.

         

        About the second question, it shouldn't be an issue assign data to two different workouts. If these workouts are 2 completely different workout sessions, the assigning data process will ask you first to assign data to one and once you're done, then to the other one.

          Thanks for your response it is very helpfull. It is partly working now.

           

          With another browser (IE9 instead of Chrome 24.0.1312.52) selecting the data and getting a pop-up menu works.

          Only in the pop-up menu I don't see my previous scheduled workouts.

          I can only choose make new workout, as if it is a free workout instead of my scheduled workout.

           

          Question1:

          How can I transfer data from a free workout to a scheduled workout in Mi Coach.

           

          Question2:

          How can I let my equipment function properly when I am doing a schedulend running workout inside the gym?

          Properly in the sense that synchronisation goes well from Speedcell to Mi Coach scheduled workout.

          My equipment is speedcell for PC (Windows7) in combination with a Samsung Galaxy S3 phone (Android4.1).

            Answering to your questions:

             

            It is not possible to transfer data from a free workout to a scheduled workout if the data has been assigned previously already. It is only possible to assign data once. However, you can schedule a run from the games and events since the beginning and then assign your SPEED_CELL data to that workout. To do that, first go to the calendar and then click under Games and Events, then select the workout and drag it to the date. Then go back to the assign data and then after selecting the part of the graph you want to use you'll see a window like this one:

            Now have a closer look: the first workouts that appear will be the ones that you scheduled previously on the calendar by following the instructions above. If you didn't scheduled anything, then you can select from the sports options below, the ones that are in the blue squares. Remember, once you assign your data to a workout you cannot change it again.

             

            About question number 2: I see you have the SPEED_CELL for PC/Mac and probably the miCoach app for Android, right?. Now, they are two completely separate devices to use. The SPEED_CELL alone as you have it is only meant to record your movements. It does it alone, no more devices needed, except the CONNECT that will help you to sync your data. You just need to put it, do your workout and sync. No need of training plan nor anything. Just put it on your shoes, do your workout, sync and assign the data as is explained in this post. Now, the miCoach app for Android is meant to be used for cardio workouts such as running and is effective if you want to follow coaching instructions while running. It works with GPS which means is not meant to be use for inside training, only outside. The GPS will calculate your pace and based on that you'll have training Zones to follow through the workouts.

             

            However, take into consideration that the miCoach App for Android and the SPEED_CELL for PC/Mac do not communicate with each other in any way. They are separate from each other. You can use them together like for example running outside and then you can with the App record route, calories, elevation, and more while the SPEED_CELL will give you pace, distance, etc., but they will give you as a result two separate workouts and you cannot pair the SPEED_CELL with the miCoach App for Android.

        Thanks for your post.  You don’t find the button if there is no data to assign. If you think there should be data to assign, please check here for troubleshooting.  If the issue remains, please send an email from Contact Us and the support team will get back to you. Make sure to let them know the name and version of your browser. You should also attach your log file and provide the date of the workout you’re supposed to assign.

         

        In your message, please also write down this code: "SCM – your user name - SD.”

  • wow, thanks, this helped med a lot...

    now i know what to do next time i use Micoach...

    today i took a ran to test them, and i lost my data because i didnt do the step 7.. i thought it was saved already... but nevermind. on monday im having a match, and i hope it will work perfectly maybe i should take another test before the match? just to see if it works and i understood it all???

     

    anyways thanks for the help all of you, i think i wont make the same fail next time

  • And once again I get p*$$ed off with this pile of junk. When I first got it i had problems, now i have been using it for months and again i am astonished by this £70 plastic nightmare. I use the speed cell about twice a week when i remember to, I use it for tennis, squash, running and football. Usually i upload my stats via the PC connector on my laptop as soon as i have finished with no problems at all - but last night after football training i forgot to do it. So i synched today (got the success msg) - logged in and lo and behold there is no message telling me there is a new workout - at all. Tried IE, firefox & chrome (the site doesnt work on my firefox btw it doesnt even let me log in) and synching again and again - each time successful. I may as well hire some kid with a speed gun every time i play then at least i may get consistent data....Que the "what pc are you using" response. As an IT manager please spare me the 'user error' jargon just this once? Also I would not like to send an email to the customer support team who may or may not email back, - anyway rant over - thinking about it i apologise if this seemed a little harsh.

      thanks for your honest feedback. Offense non taken as I can understand how frustrating this can be. I am sorry you are having issues with your SPEED_CELL. I would really appreciate if you can make sure to have the latest Flash and Java versions. And also if you could clear the Flash Asset Cache. To do it go to your schedule, right click on it, click on Global Settings, then Erase all and refresh the website.

       

      If that does not work, I would really recommend  you to send an email to our Support Team (support@micoach.com) since  they can provide you with one-to-one assistance. I can understand you are a bit dubious about it but I want to assure you that our agents always get in contact with the users and when necessary they will pass on the issues to the responsible department in order to be solved. It is true that a final feedback with a resolution might take a bit of time but this is because the problems are being analyzed on a case-by-case basis and they need to be replicated in order to find the source of it. If you are still willing to send an email to Support, I would really appreciate if you could describe what you have already tried (several browsers, clear cache and cookies, update Flash and so on) and also if you could provide your log files. You can find them under :\adidas\miCoach Manager\logs\debug.log. Also let them know you are using a PC and not a Mac since the Manager versions are different in each case.

      • one question, once i sync using th ipod touich soccer app, can i also try to sync the same training data via PC-connect?

         

        because i tried using the iphone app, bui get a sync connection error towards micoach, and when i plug it to do it via PC-connect no new data appears in the website to assign.

          Thanks for the post.

           

          Once you sync your SPEED_CELL data via iPod successfully, it isn't possible to re-sync the data via PC. The data will be removed from the SPEED_CELL as soon as you sync.

           

          However, you said you couldn't sync the SPEED_CELL data at all via iPod due to connection error. So you synced your SPEED_CELL via PC but no new data could be found in the website. Is this correct?

           

          If so, please let me know if you've taken out the battery from the SPEED_CELL before synching it via PC? If yes, please let me know if you've taken out the battery more than once.
