This is by far the worst electrical device I have ever bought in my life, the engineers behind this should be ashamed to have produced such a difficult to use and temperamental product.
Within half an hour of receiving the device I had my first error codes and spent 2 hours trying to find a solution to code 810, after I discovered the problem was the pacer had been left connected to my computer for longer than it needed to fully charge and I have to manually disconnect the device every time, I was shocked. Is this the 90's or something? Every flash drive, ipod, digital camera, etc, etc. in this age is simply pulled out of the usb port and functions fine, but do it with this and windows won't recognize it next time you connect. Also, whoever heard of a device malfunctioning after being overcharged too much?!?!
After 4 days I'm probably up to my 20th hard reset and have to leave the pacer switched on to run the battery down from it's 'overcharged' state so that I can reconnect it and re-sync like I'd just purchased it, every time I want to go for a run. Spending more time on the computer trying to set the device up than actually running is driving me insane and it's such a shame because in principal the functions of miCoach are so much better than Nike+, real-time feedback on heartrate and whether you need to speed-up/slow-down and the scheduling system are top notch. The hardware and firmware however is not, that's where Nike+ wins because at the heart of that is an iPod which has clearly been designed by engineers who know their electronics.
