  • Hmmmm you are correct, cannot edit just heart rate!!!

Back to originAL WISH LIST THEN PLEASE !

  • The main thing for me other than any GPS improvement that can be made is to allow my iphone to just pick random music and not requiring it to be in a specific playlist.

A free bigger battery that adds no weight and runs forever as i dont half seem to go through it.

Just like to add great app hope it goes from strength to strength.

  • I am using the MiCoach on my BlackBerry Bold 9700. I will suggest the following new features:

    1. Start the exercise straight away while it is trying to locking on the GPS signal. It typically takes about a couple of minutes to lock on the signal. That means I have to fiddle with the buttons while I am running or wait until it locks on GPS before I start. Ways to speed up the GPS lock on will be nice.

    2. Export route to a KML file which can be read by Mobile Google Map or email to a friend.

    3. Be able to see where you are and the trail on the map during exercise. This is useful when you got lost.

    4. Be able to type notes on waypoints when paused.

  • Wow!  A lot of great input here.  The highest priority for me would be the integration of the HR monitoring with the mobile app, distance-based running (instead of time-based), and trimming starts and ends (or having the workout automatically start when I hit the right zone, instead of while I'm walking out the door).

Otherwise, I love this app.  I use it nearly every day in prepping for the Marine Corps Marathon and give it a fair bit of credit in keeping me motivated.

  • Its in settings.....gear.

  • I'm in the U.S. Navy and I'll be deploying soon on a ship.  It would be great if there were a version of miCoach's synchronization program offline as I won't have access to the internet to download my workouts.  I'm currently trying to find a work-around for still doing my workouts while on the ship.

  • I am new to mi-coach and have tried several running app's for the i-phone, still undecided on whether I prefer this to "runmeter" which I also use. This has the facebook link at start and finish of runs, facebook messages are spoken to you through your head phones, followers can track your run in real time via FB, very simple to use, compares times/pace of routes of the same route that you have done. I also use I-mapmyrun to mark out a route before running to get an accurate distance of a new route, this is also a very useful feature.

  • Actually if you use the mobile phone then you add the new voice in the Settings on the phone. Open miCoach on the phone, then go to Settings and you should find it. If you use miCoach Pacer then you add the voice from your miCoach.com settings (Gear > Pacer).

  • I would like to see my friend's runs as well as my own, so we can compare our achievements. Like the Street team on Runkeeper. Other than that, great app!

  • Hi guys - I've tried all the generations of this app and now that I have the Pacer and the iPhone app, I would love to actually just use my iPhone. The key is that I am addicted to HR data. I've tried both, but for training at my level (middle of the range), you can't beat HR data - me thinks. Personal preference. How about an HRM strap that is compatible with the iPhone? This comes in particularly handy for spin classes as well.

Also, if would be useful if you adjust the HR zones for me based on activity - in the case of cycling - drop the zones down a noch. :-)

From an old friend, who is back on the bandwagon...

  • After losing the data in 2 ocassions which happened while the data connection was sluggish. Don't know why it was sluggish as I am living in Greater London where the signal should be very good. However, it highlights the importance of the data backup. I will suggest it always have a local copy on the media card (not in the main memeory). This will save time downloading every time you look at a past workout and charges while roaming.
