Hi miCoachers,

There will be a website update at 2pm CET on Monday February 18, lasting for about 4 hours.  We’ll be making continued improvements to the website at this time.

Login and syncing won’t be available so please save your workouts and sync when we’re back up.

We’ll be releasing a Support Updates Blog to give you a rundown of the fixes made. As soon as this is published we’ll let you know.

Hi miCoachers!

If you use the miCoach mobile app on your iOS device, you probably noticed that an update has been released.  Thanks in big part to your feedback, we’re happy to introduce new features and bug fixes.

Have a look at what’s new:

•    Full iPhone5/iPod Touch 5 generation support. The app uses the full screen to display your workout and can be also used with any Bluetooth Smart Heart-Rate Monitor.  Please see image attached.

•     Your privacy matters to us! The app obscures your account link and at the same time you still can set an individual pass code to protect others accessing your app.

•     Spend less time in setup mode.  All miCoach languages are now automatically detected and the app sets up instantly.

•     Repetition is good… to a point!  We’ve fixed the bug where multiple copies of individual workouts showed up in your list.

•     Smarter Bluetooth integration.  The app now gives more detailed Bluetooth alerts if you need to take further steps when pairing.

•     Get our latest training tips and advice on the go now that the App gives you full access to the miCoach blog.

•     Want to know more about miCoach?  Visit our revamped “About” section under Settings, which include links to our Soccer, Tennis, Basketball and Running apps.

All the best,

Your miCoach Team

Hi miCoachers,

We’re always looking to improve our website to enhance your miCoach experience.  With this in mind and thanks to your feedback, our engineers and web team have been working away like Santa’s elves in order to fix some bugs and bring you some cool features right in time for the holiday season.

On our Website we now have the following:

-     Always on the go?  Now your workout Schedule can also be viewed from your smartphone browser.

-     For the miCoachers with a competitive spirit, now’s your time to shine and show it! The MVP daily leader is displayed on the group page for everyone in the group to see.

-     We’ve implemented various bug fixes and thanks to your comments, we’ve also introduced some language and translation changes. Please continue to give us your feedback.

On our Support Site you’ll see these features:

-     Our new Smart Search feature is available on all the Support Site pages and will make it quicker and easier to find solutions and topics of interest.

-     It’s now easier than ever to start a thread in our Discussions area with our new “Start a thread” box at the top of each community topic.  You can also start a thread even when logged out: after submitting the thread topic you will be taken to our login page and then straight back to the thread you were creating.

-     Stay on top of all discussions with our improved layout - the new sub topic structure now gives you a more all-round view of the discussions taking place.

-     For when a picture is worth a thousand words, you are again able to insert an image into a Discussion post.

-     Need to call us?  Getting in contact is now much simpler with our interactive map showing the relevant telephone numbers and availability times. Check it out on the Contact Us page (located below “Log a ticket”).

Thanks for choosing miCoach, we hope you have fun exploring the new features and as always, happy training.

Hey miCoachers,

To make sure you enjoy the best possible experience on miCoach, we’ve been busy fixing a couple of bugs and making various improvements to the website. Our engineers have been working hard and you will now see a number of updates, including:

- For football fans, the SPEED_CELL football workout timeline has been fully restored and shows correct data. You may also want to check out our UEFA Champions League campaign to see how you compare to some of the best players on the planet: bit.ly/ucllevel

- Feeling short changed after training? The Issue with low feedback scores on your workouts has been resolved. You’ll now get the recognition your hard work deserves!

- Sharing your workout URL is now fully visible. Go on, put in the hard yards and challenge your friends to see if they can follow in your footsteps.

- Having the right footwear on your feet for your runs is one of the most important things you can do. You can add your shoes again within the Track> My Shoes tab to make sure your feet don’t suffer.

We’ve also updated the website in a couple ways. You can now remove a follower from your web account.  Also, upon winning or losing a challenge, you’ll get a notification message that will now directly link you back to your personal Challenge page on micoach.com.

Thanks for choosing miCoach and as always, happy training!

Website Update - Nov 9

Posted by RocknRun15 Nov 8, 2012

Hi miCoachers,

On Friday November 9, we will be making further updates within our datacentre, so that more of you will be able to use the system together at the same time. From 11:00 AM -12:30 PM CET and 6:10-7:10 PM CET, you will not be able to log in to the website or sync to web.

Thanks for your support and happy working out!

Your miCoach Team

Hi miCoachers,

After updating the miCoach mobile app to our latest version 2.1, some of you have noticed that when starting a workout, the app searches for a Stride Sensor, even if you aren't using a Stride Sensor with miCoach CONNECT - as a consequence your workout will not be tracked accurately.

If you have experienced this, please try the following steps:

- Go to Workout History and sync your data

- If you then have an issue syncing, please check your Workout History list for any workouts with corrupted data (at the bottom of the list most likely). Please delete this workout and try syncing again.

- Reset your account by going to Settings > Account link > Reset

- Re-start the app and login again. The Problem should be solved.

Note: Ensure that you have selected your activity type before starting your workout.

We're investigating this. We'll keep you updated on a fix date.

Hi guys,

We previously advised you that we were planning to make updates for the Tennis, Football, Basketball and Running Apps available. The update for Tennis was released last week and was received very positively by the miCoach community.

We are now pleased to announce that the Football App update has also been made available. These updates bring in some new features like being able to call-up the other miCoach Apps from within them but most importantly provide a solution to the issue of the SPEED_CELL not being recognized by the Apps.

We want again to say thanks for your patience and a big thanks to those of you who provided us with details of your issues, the steps you tried, screen shots and other information. These really helped our developers in finding the cause of the issue and coming up with the solution.

An update to the  miCoach Basketball app and miCoach Running app will also be forthcoming and these are  currently in the process of being submitted to the App Store and will be released any day. Watch this space!

Double check that your notifications are turned on in your phone settings, that way you’ll get the update as it happens.

Thanks,

Your miCoach Team
