Hi miCoachers,

You’ve likely seen that an update (5.2.9) of the miCoach Manager is now available.

This optional update brings added support for Windows 8 and Mac 10.8 (OS X Mountain Lion) as well as some other fixes. For a rundown of these, please check out our miCoach Manager Guide.

Hi miCoachers,

To all users affected by the GPS issue after web update on the 17th of January, where the route is a straight line and/or the route is in the wrong location:

We thought you’d appreciate a quick update.  We are in the final stages of testing a fix which we will introduce as soon as possible.

In the meantime, thanks for your patience.  We’ll keep you updated.

Hi miCoachers,

We'll be updating our website at 9am (CET) on Monday 12th November and this will last for approximately 3 hours.

During this time you will not be able to log in your account or sync to the web. Please save your workouts and sync when we are live again.

This update is to provide fixes to some bugs that you have been experiencing and also to introduce some new features and improvements to the site.

We will provide more information about the fixes and new features when we are back up.

Support Site improvements

Dear miCoachers,

 

The Support Site has had various improvements that we would like to share with you. First, while at miCoach.com you’ll see that the Support tab has been revamped for easier access and usability.

 

The Support Home page now incorporates more informative links and various design improvements.

 

We’ve introduced the Discussion Rules at the bottom left of the Discussions page and we’ve added the ability for you to mark your post as either a question or a discussion.

 

Next, the Guides and Tutorials Page has some design styling improvements. For example, we’ve made it clear to view each Guide by pushing it to the top when you click on it. In addition, the instructional videos are now in a larger format for easy, clear viewing.

 

We hope you like the changes you see. We’re continually striving to make your miCoach Support experience better and your feedback makes it possible.

Short Downtime

On Thursday 10th May 2012, the miCoach website will be offline for maintenance for approximately 30 minutes starting from 15:00 CET. This is to fix some minor bugs.

 

During this time you will not be able to sync your miCoach Pacer, SPEED_CELL or Mobile Application. But you can save your workouts and sync later.

Website downtime

Hi miCoach fans,

 

On Tuesday 1st of May 2012, the miCoach website will be offline for maintenance for approximately 30 minutes starting from 7:00am CET.

 

During this time you will not be able to sync your miCoach Pacer, SPEED_CELL or Mobile Application. But you can save your workouts and sync later.

On April 25th the miCoach website will be offline for approximately 4 hours, starting from 1pm CET.

During this time you will not be able to sync your miCoach Pacer, SPEED_CELL or Mobile Application. But you can save and sync later.

We are making some updates and fixing some existing issues as per your feedback.

We are also adding some pretty cool stuff. Be sure to check back when we are live to learn more about our "Challenges" and to see our brand new soccer and handball training plans.

Sports App synchronization

Some of you reported issues with syncing your SPEED_CELL workouts from your Sports App (Basketball, Football, Running, Tennis) to micoach.com. We have updated the process.  Please try to sync again now.

Hi all!

 

We made it to the finish line! You can now sync your mobile app. To make it smoother, it would be much appreciated if everyone didn't do it in the next 5 seconds.

 

In case sync fails, trying again will result in a successful sync. We will continue to monitor performance of the site, devices and apps.

 

We are extremely thankful for your support throughout this time. We can assure you it is our priority to solve these issues the moment we encounter them. We are a business and a brand, but we are just as passionate as you are when it comes to sport and making miCoach the best it can be.

Website Update

Hi miCoachers,


We are not out of the woods yet, but getting closer. The testing and backing up went well. The website is back up and performing much better. Pacer and Speed_Cell users will be able to login and sync via PC . The Team is now concentrating all efforts on getting mobile sync back up to marathon speed.  However, you will not be able to login or sync from mobile until this is at 100%, so hold tight just a little longer.


Look for an update this afternoon CET (17th March), morning time ET, with the latest and greatest. We definitely want a better, fuller, richer experience. We know this is going to get us closer to that. We definitely hit our Marathon Wall, but we are breaking through. Thanks again for your continued support.

New Update

Hi miCoachers,

 

We're making progress. We've determined that we need to take the site down for approximately 2 -3 hours this evening from 11 - 2 am CET. During this time you will not be able to access micoach.com and you will be unable to sync your data. This is essential for us to keep moving towards getting to full speed again.

 

We appreciate the continued support. These are all necessary steps that will put us in a better state in the long run.

 

We will continue to update you on the progress once we've cleared our backup and testing procedures. Please continue to save your data for syncing later. More to come as we know it.

Hi miCoachers,

First off, a huge thanks goes out to all of you for your cooperation as the website maintenance continues.

It’s our first priority to keep you informed and aware. As promised, here’s the current state of play.

A lot of progress has already been made, however we have had to disable the mobile sync function so that traffic to the servers is diminished.  That way we can stabilize and get everything back up to full speed as soon as possible. 

Our full attention is going to this process and we appreciate your patience.

miCoach website maintenance

Shortly we will be loading the maintenance page to change necesssary hardware. This will last for a short time and during this period you will be unable to sync or access micoach.com.

 

Afterwards some users may experience some short term issues. So please continue to hold off from syncing for now.

miCoach Updated

To keep you all in the loop, our IT team is working hard on fixing this and our servers are slowly but surely getting back to normal. At the moment we don’t have a precise time when we’ll be back to full speed but we’ll make sure to give you more regular updates regarding the state of play.

 

We understand your eagerness to sync and see your workouts but it would really help if you could hold off for a while as this increases website activity and progress on the maintenance slows down.

 

Keep training and saving and as soon as we’re back to full throttle we’ll let you know.

miCoach Update

We are currently experiencing performance issues with our database, which you would already know as the site is slower than usual. Our IT team is tuning the system, however this will take some time before you see the effects of this.

 

We’re working on this as top priority and we will have an update on Thursday at 10am CET.
