Issues with miCoach Apps

Posted by rugby13 May 20, 2013

Hi miCoachers,

Just to give you all an update on the latest with the different App issues:

- No Sync or Login for SPEED_CELL Sports Apps (football, tennis, basketball & running) - we are looking into this with the highest priority. We believe that we've found the cause and we'll hopefully be able to make another statement on this in the next few days.

- iOS App 2.2 crashes - delete and reinstall the App is a solution for this issue.

- iOS App 2.2 - Error "2,104,3001" - if this is happening since the update then please try the following steps:

          - Save the workouts and try syncing from the Go section of the App

          - If the error persists then please take note of the stats of workouts since 14th May (to enter manually on the website)

- Android App 2.2 - Error "37,3001" - if this error has started after 14th May then please try the following steps:

          - Save the workouts and try syncing from the Go section of the App

          - If the error persists then please take note of the stats of workouts since 14th May (to enter manually on the website)

We'll update you again as soon as we have more information.

Thanks,

Your miCoach Team

Hi miCoachers,

An update to the miCoach mobile app for iOS has been released. Version 2.2 brings some new features and fixes. Here’s the lowdown:

- Want to compare your free workouts to track your progress? Our new Run Score feature will rate the workouts which are longer than 1.5km, so you’ll be able to compare your performance across different workouts and distances. Based on the Run Score, you’ll get your predicted race times for 5K, 10K, Half-Marathon and Marathon. Check out our Blog and Guide for more info!

ios1.pngios2.png

- For those lucky enough to have the Bluetooth HRM we’ve made it so that after the HRM has been paired for the first time, the App will automatically search for it when you start a workout.

- Fancy checking out your workout with the App on iPad? Well this just got better – graphical issues have been fixed and screen rotation improvements means you can now have your results in landscape mode.

- Auto-Pause/-Resume (beta functionality): as many of you requested we are trying to integrate auto-pause/-resume in case you stand still during your workout. Please try it out and provide feedback via the app as to whether it works for you. Check our Fourm post for more info and how to give your feedback.

We hope you have fun exploring the new feature and as always, happy training!

Website Update – February 18

Posted by rugby13 Feb 17, 2013

Hi miCoachers,

There will be a website update at 2pm CET on Monday February 18, lasting for about 4 hours.  We’ll be making continued improvements to the website at this time.

Login and syncing won’t be available so please save your workouts and sync when we’re back up.

We’ll be releasing a Support Updates Blog to give you a rundown of the fixes made. As soon as this is published we’ll let you know.

Thanks and all the best,

Your miCoach Team

Hi miCoachers,

The team is currently investigating for a solution for the Blank Schedule.  In the meantime, miCoacher senna101 has posted and shared a way to see your Calendar. We’d like to thank him for communicating this to users on the forum and helping others out! We’ve also added a second way to access the schedule.  Note – both of these work-arounds require that you have a training plan.

If you don’t have a training plan and you want to see your past workouts, you can go to Track>Journal to check them out.

Access through Workout Navigator-

1. When logged in to miCoach.com, go to Home. See the Workout Navigator. You will see vertical bars at the top.  Completed workouts in light blue, last completed workout in green, and upcoming workouts in darker blue.

1.png

2. Click on one of the Blue bars which are to the right of the Green bars.  This is an upcoming workout.  Once you have clicked on an 'upcoming workout' bar, look for the 'View Schedule' link, circled below:

2.png

3. Next, you’ll see a workout preview display.  Click on the Close icon at the top-right of the Workout Preview.

3.png

4. You should then see your full Schedule:

Alternatively, if you have a training plan, you can access your Schedule through your Profile.

1.     Go to your screen name drop-down and click on Profile:

5.PNG

2. See an “Upcoming Workouts” Preview Box, to the right of the Status Bar.  Click on the Blue Bar of the Workout, not the white area:

6.PNG

3. Same as in the first process, you will see the workout preview.  Click on Close and you will see your Schedule:

All the best.

Hi miCoachers,

If you received syncing errors on the miCoach mobile app (2,014, 3001) due to an Assessment Workout or a Free Workout, we’d like to inform you that this issue has been resolved. As a result, please try syncing again. You should be able to sync successfully without having to delete your Assessment of Free Workout.

Please note there is a small chance that some users could still see a similar error code on the miCoach mobile. We are working with urgency to get this fixed. Please send your details to customer support to help us troubleshoot the issue.

Thanks for your patience and cooperation.

All the best for your training,

Your miCoach Team

Hi miCoachers!

As some of you have seen, an update of the miCoach Mobile app for Android has been released.  Thanks in big part to your feedback, this updated version introduces new features and fixes some existing issues.

Here’s what’s new:*

•     Get our latest training tips and advice on the go! The miCoach app for Android now gives you full access to the miCoach blog.

•     Don’t get lost in translation.  The App will now automatically detect your phone’s language.

•     Eager to start your daily run?   The App finds GPS faster so you can get going.  We’ve also improved the app connectivity for quicker syncing.

•     The enhanced music player integration makes it easier to select your favorite tunes, so go ahead and pump up the volume.

•     Want to know more about miCoach? Make sure to check the revamped “About” section under Settings.

Thanks for choosing miCoach.  We wish you a happy training!

Your miCoach Team

  • *Currently it is not possible to integrate our HRM Bluetooth Smart Compatibility with the latest Android phones since Bluetooth Smart for Android is not accessible for Independent Software Developers.  Hardware and software support is required at the Phone level for this to happen. Most Android phones do not support this version of Bluetooth, but this will change over time.  This is where we are currently.  But our goal is to continue to strive to meet your wishes with future releases.

Hi miCoachers,

Since the release of the miCoach Console game for Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 last summer, our development team has been working hard to give you the best gaming experience. We’ve listened to your feedback and are launching an update that fixes several issues and brings some cool, new features to make your experience better. Your game will automatically be updated in the next few days via Xbox Live and PlayStation Network and will include the following fixes:

PLAYFIT – Track your calories with Kinect PlayFit!  The Console game now works with Kinect PlayFit, the new fitness dashboard on Xbox 360. Mini-games on Xbox 360 have also been updated to track calories via Kinekt PlayFit.

STATS – Check your progress! We’ve fixed the bug for incorrect distance and calories coming from micoach.com.

CALENDAR – Track every workout!  Strength & Flex workouts completed outside the game are now showing the correct calorie count on your game schedule.

EQUIPMENT – Enjoy more flexibility!  Skip workouts that you don’t have the equipment for.   For the best results, however, we advise you to use the equipment that comes recommended with your plan.

USABILITY – Smarter game to reward your effort, even if you’re not a pro!  The game now adjusts itself according to your style of reps.

MICOACH.COM – Easier syncing and smarter notifications!

- We’ve fixed a number of sync issues between the web and the game.

- You’ll also see clearer notifications on micoach.com and smarter game notifications according to your level.

Enjoy the updates and stay tuned; we’ll keep you updated on the latest improvements.

Hey miCoachers,

To make sure you enjoy the best possible experience on miCoach, we’ve been busy fixing a couple of bugs and making various improvements to the website. Our engineers have been working hard and you will now see a number of updates, including:

- For football fans, the SPEED_CELL football workout timeline has been fully restored and shows correct data. You may also want to check out our UEFA Champions League campaign to see how you compare to some of the best players on the planet: bit.ly/ucllevel

- Feeling short changed after training? The Issue with low feedback scores on your workouts has been resolved. You’ll now get the recognition your hard work deserves!

- Sharing your workout URL is now fully visible. Go on, put in the hard yards and challenge your friends to see if they can follow in your footsteps.

- Having the right footwear on your feet for your runs is one of the most important things you can do. You can add your shoes again within the Track> My Shoes tab to make sure your feet don’t suffer.

We’ve also updated the website in a couple ways. You can now remove a follower from your web account.  Also, upon winning or losing a challenge, you’ll get a notification message that will now directly link you back to your personal Challenge page on micoach.com.

Thanks for choosing miCoach and as always, happy training!
